The 22-year-old BMX competitor recently represented the United States in the Paris Summer Olympics and will join Jack Wood and the MHR team prior to raceday. The Olympian and 2023 Pan American Games silver medalist will visit Statesville, N.C. prior to the race to show off his BMX skills in front of the MHR team and the No. 91 Mongoose / USA BMX Foundation Chevrolet.

Both Jack and Cam Wood will visit Avoca Elementary School in Bristol, Tenn. on Wednesday, September 18th to speak to students and make a bike donation to the school. As part of the USA BMX Foundation’s STEM program to educate students, the school will receive five bikes with helmets, bike computers, bike tools, and a six-module STEM course to incorporate into the school’s curriculum. During the assembly, Jack and Cam Wood will build a bike for students and teach them about the healthy lifestyle habits, work-ethic, and training disciplines that both BMX and motorsports disciplines require.
